Is this your first psychedelic session? Or are you still researching and doing your due diligence on the subject? No matter where you are in the process, our mission is to guide you into having a safe experience when the timing is right on your end.

When I was new to psychedelics, I could have done so much more research. I didn't know where to look, where to find it, or what sources to trust. And I see a lot of people have the same questions I had before my first psychedelic session. My core motivation is to help guide clients to create a safe atmosphere to explore the world of psychedelics to allow healing and growth while avoiding the pitfalls. Researching psychedelics is very important to minimize the potential risks involved.

Preparations ahead of a psychedelic session.

Allocating sufficient time is critical when planning for a psychedelic session. A psychedelic session doesn't belong between appointments or between busy days. A large portion of the day of a psychedelic session is the actual psychedelic experience itself. Allow the rest of the day to integrate, reflect, and rest up for the best possible outcome. We also recommended this for the days after going through a psychedelic session. Usually, nothing is restricting you from going to work the following day. However, this might be challenging if you have gone through a "rough" psychedelic journey.

Have a clear intention.

It is always essential to have a clear intention in mind of why you want to go through a psychedelic session. Ask yourself if there is something within you would like to gain insights or clarity about. Do you have elements in your life you want to eliminate or would like to improve? Please write down your intention and bring it to the session. Some people also seek psychedelics out of curiosity or to explore spirituality.

Social support.

Social support is a crucial element to "go with the flow." If you have a partner in your life who is skeptical or worried, we highly recommended to address this ahead of going through with a psychedelic session. Leaving this unaddressed is likely to be a distracting element and is expected to have a negative impact during the psychedelic journey and make it more challenging to go through. The conversation is an excellent place to express concerns or worries ahead of the trip. With a trip sitter, you should be met with empathy and compassion without any judgment. Letting a partner, relative, or someone you trust entirely about when you have a psychedelic session is always recommended.

Choice of location.

We recommend choosing a location for the psychedelic session to be spacious and comfortably heated, with curtains to make the room dark. The toilet should be nearby. The choice of location should be a place where you can be undisturbed through your journey. Clearing your schedule for the day is also an essential element, including the day after. This is for you to focus on yourself and allow yourself to go with the flow without having any distractions wanting your attention. The session can be held at a hotel or in your home. The most important thing is to create a setting where you feel safe and comfortable.

Water and food.

We recommend starting the day with a well-prepared breakfast but not being stuffed up to the brim when the psychedelic session starts. If you use sleeping medicine or sedatives, you shouldn't be affected by those on the day of the session. Early coffee is fine, but we recommend not being "geared up" on caffeine. You must avoid taking any stimulants entirely in the days leading up to your psychedelic session, including the day of the session. You can combine most antidepressants with psilocybin, but the dosage must compensate with approximately 30-50% to get a similar experience to a person who is not taking any antidepressants. Antidepressants and MDMA are a no-go due to the risk of serotonin syndrome.

Make sure you have a bottle of water available during your psychedelic session. There is rarely a need to eat a whole meal during a psychedelic session. We recommend bringing fruits and snacks during the psychedelic session or having a meal ready after your psychedelic session.

Final check.

The most important thing is that you feel ready for the psychedelic experience. Your daily form needs to be in place. Let us know if something needs to be corrected. We are there for your comfort and safety, and it's our profession to handle challenges. You should never feel a financial motive from us to complete the session as scheduled.

Guiding you through a psychedelic session.

We are happy to help you by guiding you through the psychedelic journey based on scientific research and our own experiences. We will bring necessities like shades, headphones, and playlists for psychedelic journeys.

Typically, we start the session by having a two-hour conversation before the psychedelic journey. The psychedelic journey itself lasts about 4-6 hours. We spend the time necessary to "land" your psychedelic journey, where we can talk about what you have just experienced. Feel free to let me know at any time during your psychedelic journey as well. We're not going to leave the location without your consent.
