Different paths a psychedelic journey might take - Part 1
A psychedelic journey can evolve into three main categories when the empowering insights are shown to us. You can't determine which of the categories you will be gaining insights from, but from a series of experiences, most of us will experience all three of them at some point. – And nearly everyone becomes surprised at how the experience manifests itself.
Clear insights.
With this experience, you might experience that all of you, including body, emotions, spirit, and soul, become completely translucent. The same might occur with your relationships with your closest ones, the world itself, or reality, for that matter. A journey of this kind often results in clear insights into actions that must be taken in your life. This might involve your relationships, work life, current trajectory, etc. You might also experience that the mushroom or spirit beings show us the universe's most hidden secrets, which, at their best, can be completely distinctive. There is often not much to say or to talk about after such a journey. What you might have to do with your life is completely clear to you, or that everything has just "fallen into place" through an inner process that can be difficult to describe.
"Under the microscope".
"Under the microscope" can typically be a demanding experience to follow through. In such an experience, we usually are confronted with our negative sides. On smaller dosages, this could be experienced from outside, but it will still be an intense experience. On the larger dosages, we melt entirely together with the experience of being like "this" or even just like that. The experience hits us straight in our faces, so we can no longer run or escape it. Depending on what concretely will be the theme of the psychedelic journey, this usually demands a deep soldering conversation in direct extension to allow the experience to be placed with its proper context.
We do not recommend being alone during or after such an intense experience unless you already have a specific experience with psychedelics and ideally had thematically demanding journeys with a trip sitter previously.
Traveling to areas outside of ourselves.
Psychedelic journeys to these areas can be very demanding to experience. We might encounter things we have kept at a distance or do not want to see because they are taboo to us in some way or another. Maybe we try to "keep us for good" to take apart certain emotions – for example, aggression or different sexual powers. The truth, however, is that a balanced inner part of us demands a conscious relationship to all types of forces that humans might get in touch with or are driven by – forces that, in the considerable potentiality, all living beings have access to.
During such a psychedelic journey, you might experience yourself "bathing" in "the whole world's" rage, sorrow, pain, or misery – again to exactly see, acknowledge, and settle down with the fact that these are natural forces we are all taking part of some way or another, and which takes hold of us under certain conditions. It is important to note that what we experience in this setting is not an expression of "how I am deep down." Still, it shows what humans must accept and relate to in an adult manner if we intend to evolve as individuals and societies.
Luckily, we are not only visiting painful or difficult areas. Similarly, we experience universal love that permeates everything. These experiences can be transformative and redirect your life in a positive direction.
